Wild Frontier Foods has grown out of Mike & Jan’s
ingenuity and sense of adventure.
Early on
Mike a bush pilot started his flying in the Arctic.
After settling in Southeast Alaska where he operated his aviation business.
Jan is a cookbook author and outdoor enthusiast who saw life in the wilderness as just another challenge. In fact they agreed JAC Inc. their corporation, stood for just that.
Jan and Mike soon moved to Hoonah, Alaska to set up shop. They operated a small bed and breakfast and aviation service until opening the doors to The Galley Restaurant. Jan’s imagination soon landed on the Wild Frontier Halibut & Salmon Melt Pizza. Locals and visitors alike clamor to The Galley for its creamy, cheesy halibut & Salmon goodness year round.
